What’s your tax ID or EIN number?
Meals on Wheels Southwest OH & Northern KY is a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Our tax ID number is 31-0537097. Our legal name is Wesley Community Services, and we started doing business as Meals on Wheels in March 2020.
What services do you provide?
Our centerpiece service is, of course, Meals on Wheels. We provide food to seniors so they can age in a place where they feel most comfortable and connected to their community. However, we are about so much more because when we deliver meals, we get the chance to check in with our seniors, chat for a few minutes, and make sure they are OK.
Through our Pet Support program (available only to those who participate in the Meals on Wheels program), we deliver dog or cat food, along with vouchers for vet services.
Our Cincinnati Senior Services programs provide additional support, including: Transportation, Personal Financial Management, Senior Care Coordination, and our OTR Senior Center--all with the goal of helping seniors age happily in their homes.
What geographic areas do you serve?
We serve 12 counties. Our service area includes Hamilton, Butler, Clermont, and Montgomery Counties in Ohio and the Kentucky counties of Boone, Kenton, Gallatin, Carroll, Owen, Grant, Pendleton, and Campbell.
How many meals do you prepare and deliver?
We are on track to deliver 1.4 million meals per year, assembled in our commercial-grade kitchen. In addition to our regular menu items, we also prepare special meals for those seniors with certain health concerns, such as high blood pressure or diabetes. We are proud to provide our seniors with 24 meal options!
